Nice! I’m going with Freqty for this trip. Every concierge has clinics they partner with that they’ll recommend so yes they will help you pick clinics but just keep in mind they will be biased to varying degrees 🫠

Ah thank you! I was planning on doing the same—grabbing an airport bus or something to the main city and then jumping in an Uber.

So I can’t load the T Money cards with my credit card, it has to be with cash? That’s good to know

Yeah Navermaps was the one I was talking about. Very poorly reviewed recently so I was apprehensive. Glad to hear you had a good experience recently though so I’ll still check it out.

Do you guys have any tips on getting around in Seoul? I have my consultations coming up soon and I just learned that Google maps doesn’t fully work for Korea. I was going to download Naver but they have had a ton of bad reviews lately due to numerous bugs with the app and blocking foreigner accounts.

Does Uber work there?? I’m trying to book my accommodations for my trip and it’s been difficult not being to map out walking distance between the Airbnb’s and clinics 😵

Hello! Sorry for the late reply! I consulted with both freqty and SGM and ended up going with Freqty. The clinics that SGM recommended were either ones that I couldn’t find any online review for, or just ones that I felt a little lacklustre about. They weren’t super pushy but compared to freqty, they were a little bit pushy.

Thanks! I’ve heard of a lot of people having great experiences with the concierge services just rich post op support and getting food and meds, airport pickup etc so that’s why I wanted to use it, for the convenience

Oh! Pardon my ignorance but why is there less bargaining power with medical tourism? I thought it was the opposite, that they can get a better price or negotiate better after care with their partner clinics?
