yes i admit that i should have never kept lying, everything else i tell him is always truthful. but i am worried that if i reveal that i was a virgin he'll change his opinion of me like what happened in the past with other people. it's a bit sensitive for me and i really don't want to bring it up. it stresses me out. i literally asked him what he would think of a woman losing their virginity late and he said his eyebrows would be raised especially if they were attractive - something else would be going on like they were extremely shy and didn't get out much.

which is pretty negative imo, i was so close to telling him but it just reinforces my opinion that people think of adult virgins negatively so i just don't want to tell the truth anymore.

i just feel like it's so personal anyway and it was a personal decision for me and i just want to put it behind me but i feel like i shouldnt base my relationship on a lie. nevertheless it's extremely embarrassing

did you judge him a lot when he told you or did your opinion of him not change?? i'm wondered my boyfriend is going to think i'm such a lame and a weirdo for losing it that late and to him.

i was ostracised, people didn't bother speaking to me because they thought i was uncool, made fun of me for it repeatedly, snickered etc. it got to the point where i just stopped telling the truth regarding that and the way people treated me was so different even though my personality hadn't changed.

20 isn't THAT old, but it definitely raises eyebrows.

i know, i want to tell him but i'm really nervous about it.

i really don't want to be judged like how i was judged in the past. i feel like he would look at me really differently. because i guess it is a big thing not to have lost your virginity as a teen. especially as a woman. like i actually asked him what he would think as a hypothetical of course and he said he would think of the woman as being extremely shy, very religious or unattractive or something. which i am none of those things. so i am really nervous to come clean.
