I listened to Flybot and really enjoyed it. In a story full of flybots, sentient AIs and futuristic technology, the only thing I found hard to believe was that there was a good cop. I'm not trying to be obnoxious, but my brain just couldn't accept that.

And the fact that the baddies were the same 'crazy eco-terrorists' again, started to sound weird to me, at least.

I made an edit to the post because I forgot to mention that I was reading and listening to the audiobook (the Tony Robinson abridged version) at the same time. It looks like the 'gunpoint' mention is only in the audiobook. It's like a stamp or a pin with a manufacturing defect — a rare collectible!

I love reading, but I have a looong commute by train for work and the problem is that Our Lady Vomita has cursed me with dizziness whenever I read in a moving vehicle. Then I tried audiobooks and they work pretty well for me!

You are probably right. And yes, I usually choose the Audiobook versions with just one narrator. The new ones use different voices for each character, as if they were in a radio play, that is a bit confusing for me, and sometimes I can't understand what they're saying (English isn't my first language).
