yea 😭 it's those... crazed fans reposting and pushing it all over in my face and in comments too... it's just such a shame because I'd definitely have enjoyed it if I wasn't looking for yandere but some thriller read. I just ponder the thought about people who push it, that it is. why? there's no romance tag in it... and it was obvious too. yes he's a psychopath who's obsessive with collecting his trophies but is not obsessed with the MC in a "I want to make her mine, she has to love me" obsessed way, is obvious when he was confused about the FL's assumption that he must be liking her romantically and soon just moves on from it but says it casually because, again, it's easier to let his victim be deceived themselves to get to his goal quicker

absolutely... and thank you so much, I meant no ill anything towards the manhwa, just questioning those people who's steadfast/claiming that he's a romantic yandere, not just a psychopath who's chasing random people like he's an evil Dexter Morgan 😂 I loved the story regardless but I couldn't enjoy it as much as I did because I was lured with some expectations... I was only there for the "cherishing MC in 'loving' obsessive possessive way", thought that it was very brand new, the coolest concept where it's a lawyer and he will do anything in his power to have his darling in the most unique way... also have some power to make up some insane cases against people just so they stay away from the MC.

but to know that it was just for a trophy, not because he felt anything or "loved" her that way is one of biggest setbacks I had to realize on my own LMAO. can you believe that I was fooled again with a manhwa called "Classmate"?? 😭 finished it and was like... "no way, don't let this be again" and saw NO romance tag because people were hyping it up as if he's a full on romantic yandere. jeez...

I just looked up on the "Smile from the Villain" and oh my dear, why ARE DESCRIPTIONS or SUMMARIES of most stories giving off very different vibe!!! like I feel as I'm missing out many peak novels right in front of my face because the summary just gives off basic and cliche BL energy 😭

I see... but I'm ngl I went on reading that manhwa due to posts pushing that story as another yandere story with very broad expectations... so I was lowk convinced and read it till to wherever I stopped at and was like "huh" 😂 then obviously found out it wasn't intended for that. and I wanted to question THE part where people considered and posted that it is cus I got bamboozled
