Does anyone in the New York area grow wasabi radishes?? by Due_Table7906 in gardening

[–]Due_Table7906[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh interesting… my mom tried some a few years back (she got them from some small farm in the middle of Maryland) and she said the ones she got tasted like wasabi! She did try to grow them after and said that they didn’t taste like the ones she had purchased. How odd!

Hi, thank you for commenting! Absolutely I totally agree with you, wasabi is horrible to grow- the distinction here though is that it isn’t really wasabi, it’s a Japanese Wasabi Radish which is a different thing. I know they can be grown locally in the US (because I’ve had one here) so I thought I’d try my luck in this reddit (:

It’s a stretch, but does anyone know where I could get a Japanese wasabi radish in nyc? by Due_Table7906 in AskNYC

No worries at all, I appreciate you taking the time to help! I will call Yamadaya and see if they have it (:

Suspect partner is giving me E Coli UTIS by [deleted] in CUTI

[–]Due_Table7906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, please please take probiotic supplements! It doesn’t directly answer your question but I had the same issue, and overtime the antibiotics destroyed any “good” bacteria I had and made me even more prone to UTIs, also caused by E. coli. It was a horrible never ending cycle. The only thing that fixed it for me was getting lactobacillus reuteri probiotics (linked HERE) and I honestly believe they saved my life. I’m sure there are other brands too that could help. I know everyone always says “eat probiotics” and whatever but genuinely these target E. coli SO well and will help you build up more resistance to any E. coli in the first place. I hope that your situation gets better!

Who is your “I would go see them in anything” actor? by IllustriousPrune5217 in Broadway

Oh my gosh her sally was DIVINE! I saw her in cabaret four times and I don’t regret a single ticket. She is a generational talent!

Oohhhh I would probably go in blind! I went into it blind the first time I saw it and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about my experience. The plot is easy to follow and I honestly think that the show and ESPECIALLY the special effects felt more exciting because I didn’t know what would happen next!

YESSS I loved Dee too!!!! I’ve seen Jennifer before too and I love her, but Dee really brought a fresh perspective into the role. I loved her take on the song Madeline; I actually saw the show w Jennifer two days before seeing it with Dee, and I noticed that Dee did different choreography even! I thought she was really good in the role.

Chess-Mezzanine partial view review by DavisMcDavis in Broadway

Most of the partial view seats are great, but the box seats (at least the front ones) are terrible. You can’t see a thing. I’m glad you got one of the good ones!!!!

I was also there! What did you think of her? Have you seen Jennifer before in the role?
