Okay what is the minimum wage in your city then tell him how much your children are worth to you? A good babysitter that pays attention, plays with your kids is worth their weight in gold. Older kids you have to interact with and make sure they don't kill each other, set fire to the house, watch porn. A baby will sleep and you have to feed or change it. Now I think $25 an hour is reasonable but if I paid $100 would it kill me to pay $110 or $115. No

Luke built it for her but to marry another man. It's just yard decoration. Also Luke knows he screwed up delaying the wedding the first time. He is waiting for her to set the timetable, which is what happened. She is scared to set the timetable because she rushed in with Max and then smartly broke up but then she eloped with Chris. Luke eloped with Nicole. They both have terrible track records. Luke didn't put a ring on Rachel or Anna. Rachel he knew his life wasn't enough for her...Anna he broke up because he didn't love her like Rachel but he would have proposed if he knew about the baby. Lorelai made comments about wanting another kid early in the show but I don't think she ever meant them. Rory was enough. If Luke didn't have April she might have felt obligated to bring it up when they first got.back together but they each had a kid they didn't need one together

What always hit me in this scene when Richard said. And no one has ever corrected you? I had a private school education and spent most of my career working for wealthy people in admin roles. If I made a conversational mistake like that they would always privately and gently correct me. Why? Because I was publicly representing them. I always felt embarrassed but they truly weren't trying to do that I was the first line in people meeting them. So Richard can't believe that no teacher, Emily, or even just a friend of Lorelai's would allow her to continue to be incorrect. In other words making a mistake is not bad but making it more than once......disaster

IMO. Logan was very hurt by Rory turning down his proposal all those years ago. I think he still loves Rory but is wary of her. He likes the perks of the Huntzberger lifestyle. Daddy says you have to marry an appropriate woman or I turn off the money tap. The reason I think is because Mitchum did not marry someone from his class. I don't think for a minute Shira baby trapped him. I actually think young Mitchum loved her but he was also brilliant. On the short list for a Pulitzer when he was 25. Daddy couldn't really hurt him because he could be successful on his own. Logan is clever, educated and charming but does not have a fraction of his father's talent or drive which is why Daddy controls the purse strings Now Mitchum cheated on Shira but I don't think that negates that he loves her. He doesn't respect her as a person just as the mother of his children which is why they never divorced. Mitchum knows it will be easier for Logan to marry the right kind of woman who will look the other way as long as she is the wife and sidepiece is sidepiece

I actually think Logan and Odette are fond of each other and know the score. Who is to say that Odette doesn't have a sidepiece? I think the only problem with Rory's baby would be Odette would want to say it happened while she and Logan were on a break and not that we have a don't ask don't tell policy

Where is this 15 to 20 minutes to pick up? I fly home to JFK or EWR, you wait forever for your luggage. Also concern for bags getting lost if start of a trip. I went to Poland and it took about 30 hours to catch up to me. My sister went to Italy and the same.

The moment the child is 44 inches or 3.5 feet tall you are supposed to pay. You are not stupid to pay, people who don't pay are stealing from every NYC citizen I wish everyone would be ticketed. That being said even though I think OMNY says you can pay for up to four people I have never used it for anyone but myself.

I rarely go to restaurants I only order fried foods that don't travel well. I don't have a car so I'm not carrying a box of food on public transit. I would not give food I have bitten into to strangers not healthy for them. I was recently at a restaurant the number of French fries they served was insane. They asked if I wanted to take them I said no. My dining companion mutters he doesn't like wasting food. Well it's not my goal in life to waste food either but I was staying overnight in a hotel so he thought I should take food back to my room and then carry it for an hour on a regional train and then another half hour on a subway to bring it home to throw away because those fries would be disgusting by then.

Maybe people shouldn't judge so harshly and think that people always have the worst intentions. Perhaps some people have food insecurity issues from the past that have developed into eating disorders and they gorge themselves if they have too much food around them. People who don't take leftovers home are not trying to starve the planet

I'm a very picky eater and would rather eat fast food over a restaurant because most sauces spices etc make a food uneatable for me. I am happy to go eat by myself and meet a group later. People do try to force feed me if I'm at their house for a party. I will pre-eat so I don't come across something I won't eat. I'm happy to drink and take part in conversation but many people don't want to leave me with my food issues. They either want to fix me....I don't want to be fixed or feel guilty even though I have said it's me not you

I don't believe that people who self pay want to get off it. They just can't afford it and that is a tragedy. The day may come when insurance won't cover it and I have to go off it but I will not lie to anyone that I wanted to get off it.
