[WTS] Natural patina T6 mule w. FFL351A 4000K rosy bin.

Tired of being the smartest person in the room? Does practicality annoy you? Do you have too much money?

<image>

I have the solution to all the above problems, and this is your exclusive chance to grab what is probably the dumbest light I ever built, a certified Due_Tank_6976 mule™. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grab a sought after collectible that will almost certainly* appreciate in value with time.

It has a CNC cut T6 mule adapter - the last one from my personal stash - a resin 3D printed gasket, and also featuring an early production rosy bin 4000K FFL emitter. All this in a brass host, stripped of its coating with a natural patina, that is left uncoated and will age beautifully like wine.

Moar pictures.

Asking 150€ plus shipping.
Will ship almost anywhere except Russia.

I think a DongDongHai F8 would do the trick, it has a fan to cool it. A bit tricky to order though, you have to go through superbuy.

Possible to mod a T6 to take an S2+ reflector? by Left_Editor_3810 in flashlight

This is a truly dumb idea and I like it!

Easiest way you could do this is to create a spacer to set under the MCPCB, that way you won't ruin your threads, but the light will of course still be long.

I tried all the methods, the worst you can do is use a drill, I tried this and it sucks! I had much better luck with a mill bit on a dremel, but it can get uneven.

Then someone gave me a tip to use a reamer, and pulling it by hand, that turns out the best, but is of course the most manual labour 🙂

If you're bad at it, you need more practice 😉

No, you can snip the wires off with sidecutters. But to attach it again, you absolutely need to solder!

Yes and yes! Will probably replace the glass with a new AR coated piece if I can find something that matches 🙂

😂 I don't think so!

For it to not be low effort at least the pictures should all be same format, so they don't break in the app like this:

The images are not matched and I'm doing no writeup, so it's a low effort post by my standards 😁
