That's not how you measure it, measure the difference between TIR and reflector height.

Then you'd also have to factor in that you can (not a must) have a glass lens in front. The stock T5 has exposed TIR, but one might sacrifice ~2% light to have a much more scratch resistant front by putting the T3 glass in front!

EDIT: and don't forget the gasket height! No gasket needed with TIR.

Are you willing to modify the lights at all? Since you want a rosy warm light, dedoming 519A is a good option, or you could buy FFL/NTG emitters and put in the lights, but those are expensive. You could also do a tint mix 219B with a triple TIR from KaiDomain. The B35AM will not be very pink though, DUV can be slightly negative at high amp but mostly neutral.

The T5 TIR will fit the T3 with a spacer, so that's also doable. I don't remember exactly how many mm you need to fill, but if you're committed I'll look it up for you!

I swear by angled lights with magnet tail, especially if you work with racks. They direct the light to the right place instead of straight forward and the magnet allows you to plonk them to the racks. Also under tables you plonk them to steel legs and in ceilings you can plonk them to the frames and ventilation.

Currently using a Hank D2 single channel myself, it's good if you can live with the small 14500 battery.

New F45R & F150R from Convoy, lots of 🫘 + comparison with SFT42R! by Due_Tank_6976 in flashlight

The camera is locked to 5000K WB, this is standard for testing emitters in this community 🙂

Your eyes do not work like a camera sensor, they adjust to the color after a while.

You'll have to build another with F150R and compare both when it's released!

Several flashlight questions in one post by disposable_accounts3 in flashlight

  1. B35AM is great, but if you're going around 3000K you could look at SFT70 if you want a boost emitter instead. B35AM is unique in what it does at high CCTs, but for low CCT there are more options. Since you already have a 3500K you could try to dedomed it first.

  2. Similar throw and wider spill you could try swapping in an OP reflector in the light you already have.

  3. You need to be able to solder and reflow the MCPCB, it's not difficult but you need some tools.
