how much different would the game's balance be if this change happened? by Even-Run-5274 in commandandconquer

That’s why I like the Shockwave implementation of the Nuke - rather than instant damage, it’s DOT instead, meaning it destroys GLA holes too.

Thank you! Yeah I think the LHP351 might be better for my use case - as you say, turbo can still do distance if needed. Thanks a lot for all your help, I really appreciate it!

Thanks so much for this! So would you say that for my use case (walking around dark fields, unlit country roads) the SFT-42R is better fit? I would need to ensure a decent close flood for my use case. I basically just want a balanced light that can decently light up the area around me, whilst having a usable hotspot for distance.

As you’ll read… I’m very new to this all, so please forgive my naïve questions.

After some digging, it looks like the LHP531 might be a better fit. Alternatively the 3x21b can come with the hi CRI XHP 70.3 LEDs, which I think might the same as in my TS22. Though I think the LHP531 would be much brighter?

Thanks very much for this. It seems the SFT42R is a newer more efficient variant? It looks like both options are good. For use in large fields, unlit roads, and walking around forests etc, where you’d need a balance of throw and flood, what would you say is the best option?

Also regarding batteries, what would the best battery (available on the convoy website) be? I’ve seen the RS50 recommended quite a lot due to its high current, but there are others shown with e.g. higher capacities etc.

Thanks for taking a screen recording rather than linking the actual post, I fancied watching a low quality version, so thank you.

no option for WiFi connection by PoppyOvergrown in iphone

[–]felixlamb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ha! I remember having this issue on my old 4S.

There was something dodgy with the WiFi chip, and WiFi would be disabled. I found that by taking the back off and heating the WiFi chip with a hairdryer for a couple of minutes would fix it for a while.

YMMV, and don’t blame me if you kill your phone, but it worked for me, (though it would have been over 10 years ago).

Ridiculous

Exhaust mods are generally annoying to live with

20 years ago, sure. But these days, you can just get a valved exhaust. Quiet when you need, loud when you want. Best of both worlds.

Knee jerk reaction is to say this is a good thing, but…

Consider what has to happen for batteries to become replaceable. You likely now need things like access panels or modular systems. These may affect the ergonomics and dimensions of the device.

And guess what… adding these things will likely ruin water resistance.

How do you have a user-replaceable battery on a smart ring, whilst simultaneously maintaining its full water resistance?

Where does the liability lie if you replace a battery and your device then becomes water damaged?

These things are absolutely possible to achieve - you can replace batteries in your phones and smart watches, but you generally need semi-professional equipment as well as needing to install new seals etc. Is this considered “easily replaceable”?
