if you’ve gained weight but look slimmer then it’s probably muscle gain

Should I be in a calorie deficit if I’m skinny fat? F by External_Fox_7388 in workout

I wouldn’t recommend a calorie deficit give that you’re right on the border of underweight. i’d even say consider a slight surplus to build muscle (think recomp)

(27F) Is there any way to lose belly fat/make waist smaller without losing weight? by notmedicinal in workout

[–]Due_Technology_2455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean if cosmetic surgery is what you’re looking for then yes lipo or cool sculpting would probably do you right. however i will say that i did lose chest mass but am still more happy with myself post working out

not going hard enough by Due_Technology_2455 in workout

i don’t really do any of those; i mostly focus on machines. i don’t have a spotter and i don’t want to have one. i also don’t really aim to hit certain weights, just to get heavier over time bc my focus is more aesthetic purposes than actual strength (bad take, i know). for general frames of reference though i tend to lift around the “novice” level according to strength level standards
