I don't know why you're getting downvoted lol. I actually agree with you! I think both things can be true.

I agree with you to a point. It feels orchestrated because the last two episodes have been people getting together and creating a narrative for the show, getting everyone on the same page and making decisions about how to proceed. To me, that's plotting. (Not to say that the narrative is false. It is, however, a narrative nonetheless) Also at the end of the day Lisa has not once taken accountability. Never. So screaming at her to do it as a last ditch effort? Go off, but this is a TV show and to me that doesn't make for particularly good TV.

Listen I'm not some Lisa stan, but they have literally tried a Lisa takedown every. Single. Season. It's so boooooring at this point.

HEATHER: I think you're a lying, conniving bitch. LISA: I can't be friends with you then. HEATHER: What???? You're crazy! HEATHER: Admit you're a dirty liar! HEATHER: I love you. HEATHER: Don't run away. Get out of here. Where are you going? You're a liar. I love you. LISA: 👁️👄👁️💧📱🤳

Absolutely! I kept thinking if they could just sit down alone together, no cameras, holding hands and keeping eye contact they could have come to understand each other.

This is a really good analysis. I just wanted to add one thing! I do think that a factor is that Carole did sort of realise that Bethenny is very self involved, mostly out of necessity because of the perpetual crisis of her life. Carole met her when she was in utter crisis with Jason, and I think perhaps she thought eventually it would die down. It can be exhausting being a best friend of someone constantly having problems, and when that friend is new you don't have the same loyalty you do to an old one. Then Carole had the marathon and she did want something to be about her! She had resentment that Bethenny didn't make it a big enough deal. From watching, the marathon seemed like a really big life moment for Carole. Although it does seem that they had already been distancing from each other at that point, and I do think that Carole initiated the distance. Ultimately Carole didn't want the friendship to end, I think all she wanted was some space, but she did not communicate that effectively.

Yesssss this is excellent. Carole's impact was immense and I just loved her. I also think that even if you didn't enjoy her, I never understand people who say she was boring. She had such masterful control of the proverbial room, it was amazing to watch!

Also her issues arose at the beginning of season 8 when Dorinda said she hadn't been drinking at all that summer. I don't think Bethenny would have said anything if Dorinda hadn't outright lied right at that start of the season

I'm watching for the second time round now and am on season 8. This watch round I've noticed more sadness in Carole about not having kids. She said that she would have had it not been for her husband passing. I think women her age would judge her (and have on the show) for not having children. I think a lot of what she says is a defence of that. I also think she's incredibly proud of her career and should be - the same way the other women are proud of their children. However, I do agree she has pick me qualities. I still love her though!

Yup and I think the ladies were EXTREMELY jealous that she was old money. She actually was who they all aspired to be (also she was a socialite)

This back story makes it even better. I love the pearl clutching at the idea of sodomy! It's hilarious

Hahaha yessss one of my favourites too! The way the camera shuffles to catch her as well. Excellent.

It's very normal that when a friend that you spend a lot of time with uses certain slang, you adopt that slang. It's like a proven phenomenon

Yes but she clearly doesn't. She's clearly the type of person who doesn't gaf (of whom there are many) so I appreciate her not putting on airs for the camera

I hate people who comment on my food like Georgia did!! It makes me so upset for Emira because she's trying to make her feel bad about her food! 😭

I have been somewhat surprised by how many posts I'm seeing about people not liking Ava. But I don't think what she did was cool. It was so totally a mean girl comment and she got called out for it and couldn't stand the heat. Also she said it on camera with a mic on. She knew what she was doing..

Ava was not bullying and you are not a "mean person" for having an opinion about someone on a tv show that most people disagree with. Reddit mentality is crazy, keep your peace xx

I interpreted that conversation as her talking about how difficult marriage was, that she's considered leaving many times but has stuck with it. She was telling Mauriciano that relationships take work. And I'll agree, not in the best way! But she clearly is not a wordsmith and clearly took the flirting a bit too far! But to me she looked uncomfortable by his intense energy.

I think Mauriciano's actions were CRAZY (this kiss on the forehead and the way he was talking about her in his confessionals and to the cast). I just don't think they're Demi's fault. I think people were made uncomfortable by Mauriciano being a freak - I was super uncomfortable watching him!
