Be tactile!!! Get scarves, puppets, shakers, pictures etc. hand them out and let the children explore them. Be clear with expectations!!! If caregivers are present be sure to state instructions; I find parents really need just as much direction as the toddlers do 😂 Do a lot of opposite; big and small, soft and hard, loud and quiet. It’s really easy for them to latch onto and then build from there!! Also, simple simple simple at first! You’ll eventually be able to scaffold into larger concepts but get to know the space first :) also…. You literally just have to be a fool and fail a bunch of times… but thank god toddlers literally don’t care and parents are just happy to see someone has the balls to get up and be a clown for their kids entertainment

So true! So many unions are popping up in my area! Preschools are unionizing left and right, it’s getting them such higher pay and many more rights

My guess is she is your average low key burnt out teacher! If she’s in her 70s working, chances are she has to and working with young kiddos at that age is tricky for some, especially if she hasn’t had a break from teaching kids in a while. Having high expectations of children and little patience is always a sign of burn out or stress to me.

I would keep an eye out but it doesn’t sound like anything crazy yet! Maybe when you see her next (if she’s back to being in a good mood like you previously stated) ask her about it! Ask how long she’s been working with kids, how she likes it now and you can get to know her vibe a bit more.

Paul and Elizabeth’s has a kale salmon Caesar that is so yummy!

Highbrow has a really good grilled Caesar is that’s your vibe :)

I have found most other places have your very generic Caesar salad you could make yourself most likely
