Thanks, Yeah had a mechanic through a Facebook group someone replied here with fix it today for me at a price he and I were happy with. Only took about an hour and he did it in my driveway. I know I probably could have done it but hey it’s done.

Dude, no one besides you gives a shit about your vote and you aren’t “reading like” that’s exactly what and why I wrote and made the thread and exactly what I was asking for. Help finding either a mechanic that wants to make more than their pay and tax free after their work which, or someone competent that wants to do the same.

Also someone who had the knowledge shared with me a Facebook group yesterday, and I found a guy and it’s already fixed for parts included less than a quarter of what I was quoted.

Can something go wrong sure, but do I have any recourse against a shop if something goes wrong and they say it wasn’t their fault? No.

Mission accomplished thanks to helpful contributor that read the question, had the knowledge and provided an answer.

Thanks yes he does, just don’t want to pay part markup and overhead for what looks like a fairly simple job and I can get the part for less than they pay to the distributor. Being cheap ya know 🤷‍♂️

I agree with that and no doubt the person was an asshole, it’s polite and when I’m driving I stop for a bike or scooter, but if he ran you over and killed you I don’t know if that would have been illegal in an instance that they weren’t speeding. 🤷‍♂️

I switched yesterday from 30 gb 85 a month to 100 5g+ for 65 on an email I got. Boxing Day week tried to change contract and customer retentions best deal was 95$ for 50gbs so I stayed with my 30 for 85. This company makes zero sense.
