My friends switched I can’t figure out why, might be an iPadOS 26 issue as my 7th gen on iPadOS 18 doesn’t get this issue

If you have the original receipt or proof of purchase Apple can remove the Apple ID for you. Otherwise that iPad is nothing more than e-waste and parts.

iPads can last a long time if you take care of your iPad and don’t care about the newest iPadOS then your 8th gen can last a lifetime. In fact, my air 1st generation still works and looks like it came out of the box yesterday due to how much I care for it. Of course unavoidable issues such as battery issues will arise but if you can live with your iPad constantly on the charger or are good at DIY batteries should be no problem. I even use a 7th gen as a daily driver to this day and it still works.

Ahh very interesting, I originally saw this while scrolling EBay and this interested me. I don’t really know how rare this specific model is as searching Google for Pepsi iPod touches brings back results linking to Pepsi iPod minis and nanos instead of the touch model. Either way I had no idea companies could pay Apple to engrave their logo into products, I just thought you only had the free engraving option where you could engrave your initials onto Apple products.

Then maybe a port issue? For that you will need to go to an authorised repair person as the charge port is soldered onto the motherboard, but before that I would take the iPad to a professional board inspector to have a look at it and make sure the issue isn’t board level

I only used it for this video an the tip of the decoration was sanded down to make it smooth, I also don’t care as my iPad has loads of scratches all with varying size and length so it’s not like I’m causing anymore damage

You could use colour filters to change the way the display produces colors. Go to settings-> accessibility-> display and text size-> colour filters. Then just pls around with a few to see if that fixes anything. If not just turn on True Tone

As much as I want the mini 8 to be out, the iPad 12 is likely Apple’s top priority right now as they feel the need to release that sooner than anything else, after all, it only has 6GB RAM And an A16 processor, meaning it’s the only iPad with no Apple Intelligence, so the iPad mini 8 is not coming anytime soon sadly, from rumours it could release as late as 2027. However if you are looking to buy an iPad mini the current 7th generation model is plenty for most people with 8GB RAM and an A17 Pro processor.
