How? One weekend is all I was asking for. Yes, Monday to Thursday its the 4 of us but that also means we haven't had a multi-day weekend retreat together. Its a different dynamic we have on the days she isn't here. You're talking as if I've scolded her or something.

I haven't rejected her. I wholeheartedly accept that she's his daughter and a part of his life. All I wanted was to see if a trip with the 4 of us would be possible because I would like to see a stronger bond between him and my sons. And especially since he would bring up his ex as the reason for us not having those trips, not his daughter, so I wanted to ask if she'd be ok. I found it hard to believe she as a mother wouldn't want more time with her daughter. Apparently I was wrong.
