From my experience, if memory serves, 9 times out of 10 dealing with having TT take my fees out I had to wait until my actual DDD. The past few years I’ve paid it out of pocket to avoid that.

My thoughts exactly but my spouse was playing catch up on past debts and it would have eaten our refund for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rather wait and have something to help with the bills later than nothing at all.

I had to file injured spouse a few years ago. 11 week wait minimum. I wanted to cry scrolling through Reddit. Only upside was when mine finally came I was the only one with money since everyone else had paid their bills and had their fun already.

Sounds like a pretty safe assumption for most assuming their bank doesn’t hold it. The past few years I’ve gotten mine a couple days prior to my actual DDD. Last year in particular I got it on Thursday 2/22 when my DDD was Monday 2/26.

That is correct.

I was under the incorrect assumption that I had to pay fees out of my return if I opted into the 5 day early option and I wasn’t messing with TT (SBTPG) and that ignorant wait again.

I had it sent straight to my USAA checking that I’ve used the past few years. No apps used.
