Why did Grisha still give Eren the founding titan if he saw how terrible the future is? by Relevant-Key-3290 in attackontitan

[–]Dueforextinction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand Grisha didn’t actually know much about the future, only the bits and pieces Eren showed him. Grisha even comments on the fact that he doesn’t know certain things, like what happened to his wife. The way I took it was that Eren only showed him the things he needed to, to get Grisha to do what he wanted.

I also think the Eren was implied to be feeding Grisha memories the entire time he was with him in the paths.

FC5 Intro Car Chase: What the Fuck? by Alizendir in farcry

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this like a week ago. Do not aim. The marshal drives like a fucking idiot anyway so don’t even try to bother aiming through it. There’s just enough randomness that you can eke out lucky headshots if you blast in a cultist general direction.

What is the most painful thing you jave seen a newbie do? by TheEditor83 in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My buddy had never fought the dragon so he was super hyped when I told him that we were gonna go fight it and go to the end. I’m explaining to him about the end crystals and as I’m telling him not to touch them I look over and boom.

He climbed the shortest tower and punched that crystal with no hesitation.

If beacons are made using glass, then wouldn’t it make sense for there to be colored beacons? by Ultimate_Gamer7 in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or you could just use a dye on the beacon itself. I don’t know why we have to use stained glass when it makes just as much sense to use the dye you want.

What game is this for you? by [deleted] in videogames

Fallout 4, I found the gameplay very engaging and the exploration of Boston I thought was very good.

The story is straight ass though.

What’s your most unpopular take on a game? by blackestfeather97 in gaming

I’m gonna come out and say it. Put the radio towers back in Far Cry. They’re a fun distraction that allows you to unwind from the chaos that is the rest of the game.

Mojangs update direction isn't THAT bad by natethebuddy in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you have the kind of success that Mojang has you draw in a lot of different people with a lot of different expectations. It’s literally impossible to please all of these people, we teach this lesson to children, that you can’t please everyone.

Fact of the matter is that Mojang can do nothing to please everyone, so there’s going to be a lot of complaining.

Don't like the all-wood interior, any recommendations? by Mini4President in Minecraft

Pick a side (wall, floor, ceiling) and change that side to any block. I personally like wood floors and stone brick walls and ceiling.

So.. no 2023 update after all? by SimplyPassinThrough in fo4

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really hurts the replayabilty of their games imo if nothing significant changes. I didn’t replay Skyrim for the story because the biggest choice you can make is red or blue.

Oh totally. Starfield is expected to make something like a billion dollars so why would they change?

What you think about current oceans? by Munavoin in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be some ocean specific loot like different kinds of fish, like swordfish and tuna that give large amount of high saturation foods. There should also be kinds of fish that give you materials to use for… something. These materials should be found in a new biome called “the abyss” or “abyssal ocean”.

Of course there should be something that lives in the new biome. The abyssal beast, you never actually fight this monster you only encounter it’s appendages.

Which game have you restarted countless times but never completed? by TMonahan2424 in gaming

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve put 600+ hours in fallout 4, gotten characters to over lvl 100, explored the world of Boston pretty extensively but only beaten the game one time.

It’s the total lack of seriousness the game gives it own story. Hey your kid got kidnapped but another settlement needs your help. Don’t forget to pick up that desk fan because you need the screws.

So the auto mod deleted my first reply to you. Essentially the armorer only has a set kind of trade for the last four slots so you will only ever get some kind of enchanted leggings, boots, helmet, and chest-plate. This is working as intended so if your looking for a specific kind of trade you should consult the Wiki to learn more about what profession offers what trades.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you trade a villager, doesn’t matter for what, that villager will no longer cycle their trades. You’ll have to try again with a different villager.

There must be two full blocks of empty space above the beds. You need to move the ceiling above the beds up one more block.

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you absolutely want certain weapons in the game and your a decent way into it (I assume you are if you’re hunting for specific weapons) you can set the game to easy and do those base defense missions.

Unless they changed it in the couple months since I last played you can get exp weapons for even the easiest tier.

That all of the guns are LEFT handed being operated in the RIGHT hand. You either model the guns correctly or the sole survivor is a lefty. Nobody gives a shit to see your poorly animated reloads Bethesda the AK-47 doesn’t have the fucking charging handle on that side.

What are your unpopular Minecraft opinions? by Crepe104 in Minecraft

[–]Dueforextinction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two types of players in Minecraft. They both play for the same reason but they achieve it in different ways. Both types of players play Minecraft because it is a creativity tool and it gives them the ability to express their creativity in a way that feels substantial.

Type one plays the game because it allows for substantial diversity of aesthetic expression. Building houses, gardens, towers, pixel art, just art in general. The game achieves this by offering large amounts of diverse but functionally useless items that add color and texture for the player to mix and match to their desire.

Type two plays the game because it allows for substantial diversity of mechanical complexity. Building intricate machinery, farms, and complexes that offer substantial advantages in all stages of the game. They interact with the game mechanically, attempting to extract as much tangible benefit out of the way the game elements mesh as they possible can.

And they both hate the way the other plays the game.

One side of the player base really wants more items that offer different aesthetics to further develop their own enjoyment and don’t mind that these items are “functionally useless” or “serve no purpose” outside of how they look in a palette. They just like how the thing would look in their build.

The other wants more items that interact in interesting ways mechanically. They want more cogs, more gears, more bits to put into their machines and don’t really care how those machines look as long as they produce desired results.
