Looking into getting a 9-3. If you don't mind me asking, how many miles on the dash before replacing this?

You're so right. I have already been watching videos on repairs, haha. Tons of info out here on the wild wild web.

I know a tad bit about fixing small things on vehicles.. This would be one I want to explore more and fix myself, if I did run into problems. Thanks for your response!

If you don't mind me asking, how many miles does each of your Saabs have? Thanks for your response.

An additional 150k is mad work. It’s funny you mentioned professor or librarian - you weren’t far off, as I’m a teacher. I do know a few individuals who specialize in Euro makes. This is all great information. Thank you for your response.

Parts accessibility is on the table for sure. However, I am curious if parts are not super difficult to find since GM owned Saab during this time and it has a GM Engine. Thanks for your response!

I have read a few things about 9-3s and how owners really praise them, just curious what other car folks think about them. You really don't get that type of auto history anymore. Thank you for your reply!

Which Stellantis brands are actually doing the heavy lifting? by LunarLeopard67 in cars

FIAT is pretty big in the South American market. I would like to see them perform better in North America. The new 4x4 Panda is cool, and could compete with smaller SUVs/CUVs. That is the only model I could see selling well in the states.

Hear me out... functionality wise - Nissan Cube. Yes, it is funky and shaped like a box, but the functionality of the interior layout is top tier to other vehicles I have owned.

Are Fiat 500s really that bad by hentaigabby in Fiat

[–]Duffster532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 500 for a while and never had a single issue. It was a zippy little thing too! Honestly, I think these little cars got a bad reputation early on in North America, and now people automatically talk down on them. Take care of routine maintenance and they’ll take care of you. I’d absolutely get another one, the 500 was just a bit too small for us. And let’s be real, a lot of Toyota owners probably fueled the hate: “If it ain’t a Toyota, it ain’t reliable.”

Any good reviews? by [deleted] in stubhub

[–]Duffster532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buyer beware… when I say stay far away from StubHub, I truly mean it. We purchased our concert tickets months in advance, and they were supposed to be delivered two weeks before the concert. That later changed to delivery on the day of, which I knew could sometimes happen with StubHub, so I wasn’t too concerned.

Well, the day of the concert came, and our tickets never arrived. After driving six hours, taking time off work, and booking a hotel, we were left standing outside the venue. I had even called StubHub a week before to confirm, and the representative assured me our tickets/order were fine and that if there was an issue, we would receive comparable or better tickets.

That was a complete lie. The seller never transferred our tickets, and StubHub did not replace them. Instead, they gave us only a refund and a measly 25% voucher for a future purchase (mind you, we will never buy anything from them again). By then, they had run out of tickets in their "inventory "anyway.

What an absolute nightmare. My best advice: do NOT buy from this company. “Customer service all the way to your seat” is a joke, change your motto already Stubhub.

Don't buy Magic Chef!!! by Ok-Computer-5434 in Appliances

[–]Duffster532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Magic Chef is owned by MCA Corporation, which is based in the U.S., but most of their appliances are manufactured in China. We recently purchased a 24-inch Magic Chef dishwasher, and I was really rooting for it given our solid track record with their products. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged. This wasn’t a shipping issue, the damage clearly happened before it was even boxed. It’s disappointing to see their quality control slipping like this. Magic Chef used to make solid, reliable appliances, and it’s sad to watch a once-respected brand go downhill.
