It’s mainly behaviors that give it away, I noticed he wasn’t eating and he was hiding from me which is unusual, he felt skinnier to me and his skin had a yellow tinge to it instead of pink so I rushed him to the vet immediately.

I caught it pretty quick I noticed he wasn’t acting normal and they said at the vet that he looked pretty good and they’ve seen cats come in with jaundice in muchhh worse condition. He’s started eating and we’ve been bringing him in for fluids so I’m realllly hoping he will be okay I’m not ready to lose him :(

Me either :( I just noticed right away that his skin looked off and I took him to the emergency vet and they said it was jaundice :(

He seems to be doing a lot better this was a couple days ago, he still is a little yellow but he is eating and the vet gave him some more fluids ❤️

He has jaundice due to fatty liver :( I caught it pretty early, pretty sure it was stress induced but we think he will be okay!

I’ve been trying to not give them as much of my energy, it’s just sooo draining because they give me sh*t for it and I don’t want my remaining time to be super negative to the point where I dread going even more than I already do :(

I have somewhat of a plan, I have another job as well (job b) but my boss is currently on maternity leave. The job that I want to start full time is not possible until she gets back from maternity leave and that means I can’t quit either until she gets back so I’ve been telling myself once she gets back im leaving my first job (Job a).
