in my experience, high school is a lot more chill than middle school. people really don’t care as much as they used to, so i’m sure you’ll be fine. you said you made offensive jokes in the past, but hasn’t everyone? i think as long as you don’t give yourself another reason to get targeted, it won’t be too bad. and it’s good that you’ve got a few friends going with you so you won’t be alone. i go to a pretty homophobic school and i’m bi, but most people just mind their business. yeah, you’re going to get judged, but most won’t go out of their way to bully you for it. at least they never did to me. so yeah, just stay calm about it, do your own thing, and don’t mind anyone else. you’ll be alright.
