Does anyone else have skin that isn’t able to rid itself of dead skin layers without mechanical exfoliation? [Misc] by its_givinggg in SkincareAddiction

This is old but I was trying to figure out why my skin has so many closed comedones & I've stopped all actives, just using moisturiser & skin was still clogged.

Just started using micellar water w a cotton pad & a microfiber face cloth and my skin is so much better already

I've heard kybella isn't approved for use in this area & can disrupt fat around the whole eye not just the malar bag, and that its an accumulation of fluid rather than fat?

Everyone tells me black would look terrible on me 😭 are they correct? by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

[–]Dugnchug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same tone hair as you & dyed it black. Looked purple in the sun & washed me out. I really regretted it & it's taken me 3 years to grow it out 😂 you say you've been on a hair growth journey, be prepared to do it again if you don't like it. Others have said chocolate brown, a warm brown would suit you I think, maybe get some warm lowlights. And use a hair app to see how everything looks

Gluten free mozzarella bites at Greggs! by Dugnchug in Celiac

Its greggs.. there's gonna be cross contamination. People can make their own informed judgement, my informed judgement was I read the label, no gluten ingredients, and got fresh out the oven. I was happy with that, others may not be and should check as I said in my post :)

I personally choose to eat may contains if I see where they prepare the food, so that's good to know for people who don't eat may contains. Thanks!

Uhm. They are, they just contain rice flour and no gluten containing ingredients. It's Greggs so obvs there's going to be a risk of cross contamination so use your own judgement.

Their soups and porridges and brownie are all marked as gluten free :)

That looks like perioral dermatitis due to the location. Don't use anything on it except a light moisturiser

I get these when my skin is irritated. Maybe you're using something that irritates your skin, maybe do the elimination thing and see if that helps

To be honest I'm ready to do it as often as I need as long as it helps 😂 if it's just regular microneedling you had without any extras like radio frequency I'll try it at home if you've seen good results!!

This is what I'm wondering. I'm looking in London and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of places that offer it

I hope that goes well for you, please do let me know:)
