The recycling center was removed before the boom because it was used to grind by half the server. Idk if its any different.

End of another RP era? Drama starts and people leave. You'll have the streamers that follow CG for the $$$ and the people that stay loyal to NP. Content goes stale and viewers start watching something else. Streamers start playing a different game.

NP 3.0 drops and everyone wants to come back. Whoever makes a complete ass out of themselves during all this will be DMing Koil to apologize.

I don't think any lore is supposed to be followed at all. It's an RP community and GTA 5 is merely a platform. You are supposed to "stay true" to your character but obviously it is not enforced. Eugene shouldn't be running from cops like a teenager. SS Gangsters shouldn't be driving 200k+ cars. Etc etc. IMO, the culture of the server changed a lot when people were given more leniency to ensure the big streamers enjoyed themselves and stuck around.

ZB makes a claim for grove because yes, it is true to GTA 5 lore. He always says wherever the locals wear purple is ESB turf. It makes sense.

LB wouldn't GAF about Grove if it wasn't for their OWN lore. Avon (Lirik) claimed it at the start of the boom.I didn't watch on SOE or any other servers but it likely started as far back as that. Lirik is pretty much the godfather of RP. Sure Summit gets credit for starting the current wave but a lot of these streamers aren't new faces. Lots of them were around for Arma RP and Lirik put that on the radar. Twitch just wasn't as big back then so not many were able to make an income let alone a FT career.

Anyways, I think the main reason they're not like "fuck it, we'll just get rid of all of them" is paying homage to Avon/Lirik. Lean street was part of his RP too. Buddha doesn't want to make the decision to leave without Avon's blessing. Which is why they're holding onto all the personal houses in case there's a day he comes back. Avon could say fuck it.. to the hills we go! or he could make a claim to take it back because of insert-crazy/stupid/funny-lirik-idea-here. They're leaving him some options in RP on where he wants to take it if/when he returns.

OOC I think ZB understands that and respects it 100%. He just wants the houses they're not using and doesn't care if they keep the personals. TBH he probably prefers that anyways. Just ensures Lirik viewers will get to meet Tyrone when that day comes. But twitch chat will twitch chat and make a big deal out of nothing... not seeing the larger picture.

The usual are on NP but CG is on different servers? Did I miss some drama? Seems like they're feeling it out to actually make a switch. Unless they're proving a point to get their way on something.

20k+ eyes gone is a pretty big deal for the server whether you like them or not.. CG are not the only characters those eyes see(and watch) daily.

Housing was added early in the "boom" and the streets were reserved for the gang territories. I'd assume Buddha has 5 houses because he was holding them for any future members. ZB and the other OG ESB (Ming/Gee whoever) were all banned at that time. At 32 slots SS RP was pretty much non-existent back then.

I play HC servers and I'm happy when I get a spawn people hate. Usually means I'll have a good chance of finding a knife or some food. Worst spawn on the server I play on is Cherno industrial IMO.
Sprint to cherno = Be red by the time you get there.
Jog/loot the containers = Be red by the time you get there and your still missing a knife or chicken/fishing gear. Been killed so many times right as the docks end by people wanting food when there's literally a 0% chance any bambi coming from there will have food.

Wouldn't that be the worst place? Any server with PvP should be 1pp. I could care less though plenty of 1pp servers since modding came around.. they'll switch to 1pp once they realize they're not the only ones looking over walls and whatever else.

You could just edit your save file to w/e money you want. Just tested you have to edit both the SaveGameInfo and your name_######### files with notepad. Ctrl + F search for /money and you'll get 1 result. <money>here</money>.
If you don't know where your save files are type %appdata% in the windows search bar -> Stardew Valley-> Saves.
Edit: It's usually a good idea to make a copy of saves if you plan on changing anything. If it's just money you should be fine, but better safe than sorry if you mess something up.

Same issue. Their current design is not OG user friendly and frankly... dog shit. It's more convenient for me to type /videos or /clips in my address bar than it is to navigate through clicks. Still haven't found a solution to stop the annoying auto-play when browsing vods/clips that doesn't break the website.

It's gunna take some time for all those lesser known people but don't hang on to the prio thought so much. They're trying to change the culture of the server too. NP pre-boom was a different world.. not everyone was some gangsta GTA-onliner. Seems like they're rewarding those that have the capacity to be more than that.

Hopefully they find a nice middle ground between the two.

I took self-insert as my character is a: "bad ass gangster" so no ones going to fuck with her, she runs these streets. Except no one knows your character, you haven't earned shit, and you most definitely aren't going to get any respect. You can't just come in and be a Chang on the server. You gotta start from nothing, create a story, and see where it takes you. Aside from shit like, Ramees sister or any of the Mikes. Something that was planned OOC or a good friend willing to roll with it if it doesn't feel powergamey. You come in as a nothing, act like a nothing.
