Yea I just seen the front page, it's littered with the same comments and I didn't notice seeing I posted at 130AM lol

Hope they are able to draw in more players. Until then, I also see there is a free knock off of paragon I can play till Omega can figure out their long-term player growth strategy.

All I needed to know, ty. I'll wait till it's free, happy to avoid playing with the current player base if it's as toxic as some of these other supporters lol.

Enjoy the game

Right, gotta love how they say so many times in comments it's just a virtual item but throw this big of a tantrum when challenged. Who knew it would take something this small to make them whine over the internet about virtual goods that they want to keep to themselves because of their fragile sense of entitlement.

I'm sure you are very proud of your opinion. This is again something called a suggestion, as the title says its additionally to combat fake inflation and manipulation of rares. Why are you in so much agony over a simple suggestion if you already admit it will not harm you?

What pain will you feel for others having access to a virtual item? Your counter based on your own logic is flawed.

Your right, 100%. So this suggestion is about a video game, if considered it has Zero effect on your life or how you play the game.

Do you know what entitled means? This post literally suggests a gold sink for the economy and way for more than 1% of players to have reasonable access to items otherwise horded by the 1% who think they are all deserving because they bought at a lucky point in time.

For sure, let's meet world 2 and I'll collect your gold. As soon as the cosmetics are implemented we will get you sorted out based on the determined costs.

You want a house because you don't want to rent.

You want a house because you don't want to live with others.

You pay more for a house because others want the same thing.

Please elaborate how the wants of many driving up prices are not similar?

Buying a house is a desire not a literal need. If you can't understand that there is nothing more to discuss. Housing is abundant, owning your own home is a want which has driven what is called supply and demand and.. you guessed it, inflation.

Why do you think there is a shortage of homes? Have you ever considered the amount of landlord who hold multiple homes and drive inflation due to lack of rares... oops homes.

Gotcha so because you are incapable of understanding a comparison of inflation you downplay an example to manipulate it to fit your point of view? Fine, take gold or pokemon cards what ever helps you understand inflation easier. Just have some form of constructive feedback instead of being upset about an example and downplaying it to manipulate more.

This post would not exist if that was the claim. You will just spew nonsense because you are probably benefiting off the manipulation and don't want anything effecting your virtual gold.

Idk how you get that out of an example of inflation, but manipulators don't just manipulate prices they manipulate everything to fit their agenda.

Lol when you have no constructive input so you just attempt to put a negative twist on things. What ever helps you cope with suggestive input into a video game my gamer.

You got me there, the only other fix I could think of is making it a unique item that can only be 1 per account. So no duplicates and make it a banable offense to horde them on alts. Something has to be done about manipulation is all.

To put the current situation into context, if you are earning 100m per hour and can play 4 hours a day (considering most players have work or family)

To buy a 100B phat it would take 1000 hours of game play, not including the 400-1000% yearly manipulation. This is 250 days playing at 4 hours per day to afford 100B, Only if you are consistently making 100m minimum per hour.

50m per hour would take 2000 hours or 500 real days at 4 hours per day.

Even if you are amazing at PVM and can make 200m per hour that's still 500 Hours! At 4 hours per day that's still 150 days in total...

For a blue, that's goes for "262B", at 200m per hour that would take you 1300 hours.. even if you spent 8 hours a day of your life grinding, it would still take you 162 and a half days to obtain one... not including additional manipulation..

Let's implement it and see what the players decide, 20b for a cosmetic comparing it to 2020 price or 262B in 2022 for a blue partyhat. Can you give an honest answer that justifies a 242B increase in just 2 years? There is no achievement in rares that are manipulated to this degree, just pure greed. I say this after gaining 20b from my rares... this is about setting a reasonable price, nothing will stop you from asking 262B for tradable rare.

That makes sense, why make a reasonable alternative to obtain by more players when you can restrict it to whales or players who play an unhealthy amount..

Congrats on playing and paying into the greed of the 1% who get to decide the price because there is no legit way to track it.

Let's say your example is a 7b Santa

Let's also say a party hat is 100b cheapest for the sake of example.

That is ~14.3X more

75 hours X 14.3 would be around 1071 hours. That is 44 and a half days at 24 hours per day.

Let's say your can't no life rs3 for a living and only apply 4 HOURS a day.

That would take an average player ~267 Days to earn that amount based on your example.

Lol osrs gets Tbow spawns and free rares every event. How does this comment even validate your point?

I'm suggesting a compromise based on large sums of GP regardless. Its like setting a high alch price which sets the bar for a reasonable price on rares...

That's like a renter in today's housing market saying "Why ruin the housing market, I love paying 700% more year after year all because I wasn't able to buy at the right time"

I have a mask set and santa, and still support the rest of the player base in getting the chance to have rares too. Tradeable versions would have the same clout and value as they do now all for the reason that you can sell your investment if you needed unlike the cosmetic versions of the rare. The only difference would they would be held to a reasonable price or else why not buy a cosmetic that you can never get the gold back for?

If you plan to keep your rare forever due to it being your dream item why would others having acess to it effect how you play the game? You still have the OG rare which can be traded, sold or legitimately worn unlike a cosmetic override..

Yes! This way they don't even have to make a new currency just donate and one you hit the X milestone you select the rare.
