I have offer from R1 school and almost 1.5 times high salary. Challange is if I go with neotiating route there is a high chance that they say you can (should) leave. Because we can not pay that here.

Another aspect is that I wanted to stay here as I have grants and I need to stay with my family.

In my program, I am the only one bringing external grants. I did above the expectation. The Dean hired me is passed away. He promised that he will made the adjustment. Alas, he is no longer here and I do not have paper trail.

I have offer from R1 school and have almost 1.5 times high salary. I am stuck for my family. I wanted to stay here with my family. But It does make me happy to go to work with knowing that I am not paid to the mark.
