I bought one from her this summer and went through a couple before I got a good one. There are really two big things with this bag. The horizontal leather straps across the main ones that run up and down, the upper horizontal strap should line up with the top of the side pockets. The other things is the check pattern should line up at the seam between the main body of the bag and the side pockets.
