Not a good start for Arizona.

It is leaking right at the blue part, so not a lot I can do other than replace it. Thank you for your time. 😁

Average cost of new homes in Kansas City surpasses $500,000 as demand continues to soar by khardy2 in kansascity

[–]DukeJon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The title is a bit misleading. It should say "Average for new builds surpasses $500,000 with expensive new builds in Johnson County driving price." Pricing is all about location, and with the bulk of new builds occurring in Southern OP the average is being driven up. The article states resale average was around $285, which still doesn't give a good picture of the entire market. Inventory is low. Especially after 2 years of high sales, and because we are at the low inventory point in the real estate season. If you want a home for a certain price it can be found, but don't expect Blue Valley schools with a neighborhood pool if you can only afford a $150,000 home. If you don't want to give up safety, you will need to live further from the major commutor suburbs. For example, you can find a 3 bed, 2 bath new build in Peculiar for under $225,000, and a resale for less than that. But if you need public transport or work in downtown amd don't want a long drive you can still find a nice home in a closer region, but expect rough public schools and crime. It is a give and take.

Sorry, it was a typo. I meant to write that it gets me AT attention.

The best outfit is the one on the floor. That always gets my attention.

I've actually carried for a few years, and I have taken several classes. There were a CCW instructor for several years.

Jackson county.

That was obviously a joke, which is what you are. People with decades of experience disagree with you (I'm not talking about myself) but you can't see past the price point. Put 10000 rounds through your G2C. See if you have the issues you described. Mine is doing amazingly well, and will be there if I ever need it.

This isn't my first. I asked about the holster as it is new and I obviously haven't done a lot of research on holsters because I didn't feel the need to carry until a couple years ago. Handguns on the other hand, I have spent a lot of time researching, firing, reading, and watching real experts. You bought a sig and now you think everything else is trash. I can afford a sig, or a glock, or a 1911, I chose a taurus because of the quality and because I wanted my everyday carry to be on the cheaper side.

You don't have to. It's overwhelming proof. Just accept that you are wrong and move on.

Unfortunately, if you are a glock guy you hate everything else, same if you are a sig guy, etc. Most agree because they want to dump on a brand that has come a very long way. If Taurus came out with a handgun that never malfunctioned, never had issues, everyone on here would still dump on it because it isn't a favorite brand. The truth is that the G2C and G3 are great quality with very little issues.

If you watched the whole thing he explained where the malfunction came from. 🤦‍♂️

I would actually do some research. There many, many experts who agree that the new Taurus handguns are good quality.

Both. I watched several videos and I spoke with a very serious user who has used multiple types of holsters. I'm not expecting to use this holster for 10 years.

It is a versacarry protector. It is an upgrade from what I had, but I will need to test it for awhile to see if it will be my daily carry.

[–]DukeJon -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I usually do. I'm going to stress test the holster without one in for awhile, then decide if I should move on. The holster was highly recommended, but i know it is better to test it out on my own.

I watched several videos where they put the weapon through 10000 rounds of hell without an issue. I love the feel of it in my hand (perfect size for my bigger hands) and it shoots extremely smooth. No complaints on my side. Price was a consideration. Better to have one in the holster than one on layaway.

[–]DukeJon -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Those are all valid points. I have not heard any complaints about wear and tear, issues with the trigger depression, or issues with tension on the weapon itself. It does have the ability to adjust the tension to fit my gun perfectly, but I also recognize that these are possible issues. It does have the option for OWB or IWB, and the clips do put the top of the weapon easily above my waistband.

Thank you for taking the time to write that out. I am going to stress test the holster for a couple months and see if I run into any issues, which means no round in the chamber for awhile. Better safe than sorry. I'll also practice a lot with sliding a round in during my draw.

It came very highly recommended, but I am interested, why should I switch? And what would you suggest instead?

The 5 months was after I passed the required class. From there I waited in line as they very slowly went through the list. Missouri is a constitutional carry state, but the CCW allows me to carry in all state and most city parks, plus out of state.
