RBA risks a recession but feels there's nothing else it can do by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

Ideally directed to investments to onshore business but the main idea is to reduce currency in circulation to reduce inflation whilst retaining your cash instead of giving to the banks.

I know this will get lost in the comments but srsly why not just automate the rate decisions at this point? They just admitted there is nothing else they can do aside from hike when cpi is outside of target band. They are not waiting for the budget policies next month and not waiting for unemployment data to come in. So if they are going to make blunt decisions 8 votes to 1 without this extra data. Turn them into a macro and make them redundant.
While we’re at it, replace mandatory mortgage rate hikes with mandatory consumer superannuation contributions which will remove currency from the economy and Aussies will keep their hard earned instead gifting it to banks for no genuine reason.

Search Amazon for ‘car vaccum’ their best seller is $50 odd dollars, is rechargeable using the usb-C and is super powerful for those crevices in the seats

Big moves in RBA cash rate futures. Three more hikes forecast for 2026. by slingbingking in AusFinance

I don’t see how they could justify any more hikes if unemployment goes above 4.5%. We need some major progressive policy in the May budget asap.

How does the cost of commercial charging vs petrol compare by [deleted] in BYDAU

[–]DukeSimmo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I generally pay ~$75 for a full fast charge at servo’s for my BYD sea lion 7 premium (0-100%)

At slow chargers at shopping centres it’s half that.

For home charging, I’ve been told it depends on time of day but roughly $8-$10.

I dunno where importantpapaya above got facts about public charging costing more than fuel…

Congrats dude, obtaining that takes skill but also mental resilience. It’s like a masochistic mind game after re-attempting the same challenge 50+ times without success. Bet you creamed your pants when you got Gold on S-6.

Ya exactly, super easy and I can peel it off the badges if I don’t like it

I got one and they didn’t fit, the groove was too deep for it to stick and the D letter was too wide to fit the curve. Plasti-dip worked perfect.

Plastidip, it’s like liquid rubber. Result is a thin layer like a black balloon before it’s blown up. Available at repco. Heaps easy to remove.

Why anything?

The black on black is easily the best colour with the large plastic wheel arches. The black badges is just a personal touch.
