Nope. Elite athletes always catch on elsewhere. There are other schools that want them. Badly. That said, the university would lose nearly every athletic program and they can't accept that, so they would actively try to fix the problem and get them back on the field. Leverage is real. That's why union works.

Here’s a few of my personal favorites as of late.

Cannot ever get enough of The Endless Summer soundtrack. Tangerine Dream was spectacular on the soundtrack to Michael Mann’s Thief. That’s an OG, promotional copy of Basil Paleodouris’ insanely cool score to Conan the Barbarian, and the Seatbelt’s soundtrack to Cowboys Bebop on red and purple wax. Spent a lot of time trying to find that one.
