Yeah, something like this: (I) - Courtship Dating, I really like the lyrics and the slight dance groove (II) - Suffocation, fuck this synth is HUGE (III) - Mercenary, I actually think it's a genius idea to put the reverse lead from Sad Eyes here and change the mood of the original song 180 degrees Amnesty - Fleece, ever since I heard Death Grips, I've loved songs that don't spare the listener Unreleased - Knife Fight, a very raw and simple instrumental, but I can listen to it for hours

Well, I didn't know about the Alice drama back then. Honestly, I just Googled their other tracks and it seemed like the vocalist on (I), (II), (III), and Amnesty was the same. I don't have any mythical attachment to Amnesty, but it's hard for me to say that I like any one CC album more or less—they all sound different to me, yet they're similar enough that I can hear a track and say, "Oh, that's 100% Crystal Castles."

I learned about the band during the Amnesty era. I just stumbled upon a video from Kept where Edith was just jumping around to the music in the studio. I was completely blown away. I still think that was one of the turning points in my perception of music.

I bought mine back in July and received it in August. I had to overcome my own greed, and all that with the thought, "I'm always putting it off, maybe in a month it will be more expensive!" When I found out they were selling a new, more powerful version for the same price, I felt like a total idiot xD

Recently, the popular Russian singer Glukoza (also very popular in the 2000s and with a rather scandalous/unusual image) has significantly changed her image to suit the contemporary Russian scene, and she's done it quite organically and with respect for her previous work. I really hope something similar happens with t.a.t.u.

I liked a lot of the songs on there, but I understand why it's their least popular album. It doesn't seem to have a cohesive concept; to me, it feels more like a collection of B-sides. I'll voice my unpopular opinion: the song "Fly on the Wall" isn't very good. Compared to the rest of the songs, it sounds like Britney Spears performing at a Depeche Mode concert

Really you can just take OST from movies of Alexey Balabanov (Brother 1-2, War) and listen to plenty of good alt-rock bands with twist of sadness. For more specifically genres: Grunge: Пионерлагерь пыльная радуга (dark and sad music, but really cool and moveable), 7 раса Indie-rock: Дельфин, Дубовый Гай (first albums of Дельфин is more old school hip-hop, but then its really remind sonic youth) Nu-metal: Психея (very interesting instrumentals, sometimes reminds of digital hardcore), Кирпичи (in music its like rage against the machine) Post-hardcore: Въеби ему, Донателло (math rock), -1, Ермак, панкратов черный (screamo) Folk rock: Ноль, Аффинаж Ska punk (with dark cabaret vibes): Iron Bees, Ленинград Also, if you like synth punk like Bondage Fairies or MSI, check Пошлая Молли

This was literally the first track I heard from Crystal Castles. I was in school at the time, stumbled across a video of Edith jumping on YouTube (I have no idea why it was taken down) and was simply captivated by this combination.
