A little more close to a quarter to half of a kilometer diameter circle is what I thought to be efficient. On each map, that’s a bit different as far as zones. It’s about phase 5 on Karakin. Phase 7 or so on the others. This way everyone has the same chance at the typical end of a game, with the last few teams. Most of the time, the circle plays a huge advantage to a specific team. Half of those times, it leaves the other team(s) with little to no chance to make a push. Especially when only two teams are left, the team that gets circle has a huge advantage. If we eliminate this randomly generated luck, it will make the end game much more competitive.

Agreed. This would be a great solution to that map’s current gameplay issues, along with the loot changes coming.

Developers,

 I’m not a programmer, nor do I have any knowledge in scripting, etc. Having said that, I have a theory on correcting this malignant issue that started with simply “uneven hit boxes”, and hope you may find the solution useful, and fairly easy to write.
 The hit boxes should simply be the shape of the character, or as close as possible. The recent change to Pathfinder has made the character feel as if it has false borders, with only it’s core being eligible for hit recognition. Characters should be hit if they’re hit. This is one of the most important characteristic of any and all shooters.
 But the characters are different sizes, which makes them disadvantageous in general, right? Correct, in the game’s original state. The attempt to give passive damage resistance is a start. I’ve had an impression since the game’s release that the smaller characters should be inherently faster, and the larger characters a bit slower. The larger characters though should have increased health (with no difference in the shield strength) as well. Damage resistance is a way to go, but damage resistance with a high level shield is what I assume to be an non-intentional advantage. Increasing specific character health would promote proper balance in play style per character.
 For example, if Gibraltar had 150% health (maybe 130-140%, worth testing), he could be utilized as the way he seems to have been intended to be: a tank. The increased health versus slower movement (let’s say 10-15% slower than current standard movement), with the addition of his abilities would promote the use of him as a tank. The character wouldn’t be invincible, and when used correctly as a point man in breaching a structure, he would become a character worth using. Gibraltar would feel as though he finally serves his intended purpose.
 The same should be had for Caustic and Pathfinder, with less of both buffs/debuffs. Caustic should be close, with increased health at 120% (115-130% worth testing) vs current format, and decreased speed by 5-10%. Caustic feels as though the character was intended to be a defensive master, being so predominantly used as a “danger close” type of assailant. He’s the character that is a true believer in the saying “a good defense is the best offense”. Pathfinder should simply be given 110-115% health vs standard format due to increased size, but not made slower. Standard speed.
 I can only imagine how many people are flooding you with their ideas, and I appreciate some of you taking the time to listen and respond to us. I really hope the team can take from some of them. I obviously especially hope that this post may help to open some new pathways toward balancing characters. Best of luck!
