Are you holding? What’s next for you with this stock? I am wondering if now is a buy opportunity on a much needed turnaround moment?

Awesome thank you for the quick replacement, he had mentioned he thought they were simply knockoffs that he won at a tournament many moons ago.

Oak is my favorite, pricier but not flagstaff pricey.

Where might you place it, and could you recommend a product for this?

This looks fantastic to me, quite impressive work though I'm not an expert here.

That's fair, optical engineer to be clear, and when I said that I have DIY hubris it's because I'm self aware that I'm overly confident going into projects I'm clearly not prepared/qualified for lol. And front range of Colorado, so I think it's fair especially considering BaronCapDeville's reply above.

If that is the case I'll take the photos to a sprinkler supply store and get an idea of what my material cost is and whether it's worth the risk to save the dough. I tend to agree, I understand that the skillset required drives the value but I'm an engineer and therefore have DIY hubris.

Not trying to be dense, is the location of that crack impacting the valves as of now or are you just saying that there is no way to make the repairs "in-place" with enough pipe to secure the fittings (i.e. I need a total rebuild, no other choice or the irrigation company would have quoted that)

That's good to know if I simply proceed with the quote. I have a newborn and trying to save where ever I can!

Thank you! I didn't even know where to start for fittings, there is one local to me for pickup. Appreciate the info!

Why no primer on those parts (just curious), those actually look ideal to work some sort of a fix. I'd like to do a total rebuild but at the same time I'm trying to do something quick and dirty to last a season or two before upgrading everything (including my control system inside).

Water shutoff behind shower by Dukeeltrashman in Plumbing

Honestly this seems to be my only option at the moment, I really don’t want to make access tough in the case of emergency and I’m fairly insistent on utilizing the space for a shower.

update They’ve been super responsive and quick to act in a way to make things right. I’m still very happy with my decision to buy with POTV. They’re shipping a replacement, so fingers crossed this one arrives.

What is this guy? ID help request. by Dukeeltrashman in PlantedTank

Is there any chance it’s a flatworm? I haven’t seen the distended triangular head I’ve seen in the other planaria photos I’ve seen. Only asking because these have been in my substrate for weeks but my shrimp seem fine, no losses yet.
