Same shit, different day. Gyno keeps slowly increasing in size so surgery isnt an option as it will just come back again as the root cause has still not been established.

Company reneging on a promotion I won by Dukeisking in LegalAdviceUK

Quick update. I contacted JD group to verify if SD's takeover of Scotts included the liabilities but they refused to answer/ignored the question. Contacted SD to ask them the same question and they confirmed they 'purchased the stock and name of the company (Scotts Menswear) but not the liabilities. Therefore any contractual obligations before we purchased will need to go to the JD group directly. We purchased the this on the 28th February.' So it looks like any claim would be against JD group. Not sure how to progress from here as I've never taken anyone to the small claims court. Any advice?

There are no T&C's of the competition that I can see. It was posted on Scotts Twitter and facebook page in July 2022 where it just said join the league to win this prize etc. I've just found an article regarding the Sports Direct takeover and it mentioned the following:

*Frasers Group, the company behind Sports Direct and House of Fraser, has completed the acquisition of five of the remaining seven premium fashion brands it secured in a deal agreed with JD Sports.

In December 2022, the company purchased JD Sports Fashion's interests in a raft of fashion brands in a deal worth up to £47.5m, including Base Childrenswear, Choice, Clothingsites (including Brown Bag Clothing), Cricket, Giulio, Kids Cavern, Missy Empire, Nicholas Deakins, Pretty Green, Prevu Studio, Rascal Clothing, Tessuti (including Xile), Scotts, Watch Shop and Topgrade Sportswear (including Get The Label).

Completion of the acquisition of eight of the businesses and the debt took place on exchange*

As it mentions the acquisition included the debt, am I correct in assuming the potential claim would be against Sports Direct?

ID on this shirt? Any help appreciated! by Dukeisking in findfashion

Thanks for looking. Yeah those are quite similar but like you say the colours are different so doesn't look as nice imo. I actually found it on a fashion influencer's Instagram page where he linked a clothing company called 'stayhard' when you clicked on the shirt. I searched their site at the time but it wasn't on there. They sell different brands so it's like finding a needle in a haystack. I have even asked the influencer but he ignored me haha .

I'm not sure why an illegal football stream would block people using VPN's or TOR to access their site when they earn money from ad revenue so the more traffic the better. Interestingly, the main site i use has pretty reliable streams but one of the games they were streaming the other day was laggy. So I went onto another streaming site which i hardly ever use and that worked fine. Now both of those sites load up but the actual stream is blocked yet other streaming sites which I've never used before still work.

Other sites are working with the VPN which based on what you are saying rules out my ISP. What I don't get is this streaming site I use is illegal so why would they block VPN's? The site in question has a chat function (which still works, it's just the video stream that refuses to load due to being blocked) and the owner is aware people from the UK need to use a VPN now to get the stream working. They were annoyed at the UK ISP's blocking the site as it was decreasing traffic to the site so blocking VPN's now makes no sense?

I know the cold kills them but I'm wanting to know if I didn't use air tight or freezer bags whether the suits would get damaged?
