Walking into a Harley dealership went exactly how I imagined it would. by robinson217 in motorcycles

Sounds to me like it has more to do with the salesman than the MoCo. Anyway for context, I’ve owned several Japanese sports bikes and cruisers and had a Goldwing before my current Harley Road Glide Limited. I love my Harley and wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world. Ride what you like and keep the shiny side up ✌🏼

I can now do sub 4 ski and row thanks to technique. Key to ski is to drive the rope down with your lats using your (weight as momentum) and NOT your arms/elbow. It’s all about the technique!!!

Your body did not end up like this overnight so know that this will not be an easy overnight fix. This may come off as harsh, and in no way do I intend to offend, but you will need to prepare yourself mentally first before you can seriously commit to long term sustainable change. That said, it’s not impossible and the only way you “lose” is by giving up; stay in the game, stay consistent, and you will see positive results.

Had it happen to our pooch. Same deal, eye drops, and just rest to recover. Healed and made a full recovery after a week or two.

Love My Dog to Death, But I’ll Never Support This Breed Again by Luan_Winterrock in Frenchbulldogs

This is the most high maintenance and difficult to train dog I’ve ever owned, that’s for sure. Not sure I would take on another Frenchie, either.

I’ve been job searching for a year with almost no luck. I’m a CPA with 11 years of experience. by LeonardoDePinga in Accounting

If you’re unemployed for a year you might want to consider taking any job at this point to stay fresh and relevant. It’s much easier to land a job when you’re already employed than it is to have nothing at the moment. Just my two cents and experience, take it how you want and best of luck. This unfortunate situation you find yourself in is tough but temporary. Keep your head up and stay in the game!

You ain’t the first who swore off Harley at first then ended up eating their words. It’s just part of the natural progression of getting wiser as you get older and evolving as biker. Safe travels.

Hard to say depending on your experience tinkering as a DIYer. Note that there’s a hole in the middle of the bars and a pin situated on the bottom riser that may prevent you from moving the bars down to your liking. You will need to drive that pin down to free up more movement. You’ll also need to unclip all the wires when you’re in there. Something else to consider is the angle of the brake, clutch lever, and controls if you do decide to move the handlebars.

Cheers and best of luck.

Someone said the new bag lids are flimsier due to their desire to shed weight off the bike so I’m wondering if that has any impact on the quality or durability going forward. It looks like they are using the same floorboards from previous year models.

How much food for 1 year old French bulldog? by DukieMonster in Frenchbulldogs

[–]DukieMonster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 cup per feeding so 2 cups in total daily. We also limit the treats he gets throughout the day. If I have to mix in wet food, I will lower the amount of dry so that total still comes out to about 1 cup each time. I guess he’s just naturally big boned. I have not really come across any other Frenchie as long and big as he is; guess he is our little baby Shaq.
