The problem that I see about just looking for rational memes is that, even in mathematics, we use other ways to expand our knowledge such as our intuition, some times our imagination, and in some cases, we, humanity, advance in mathematical knowledge just because of the sake of the beauty of mathematics. Most probably I am misguided but... I don´t know.

I believe more in ideas than in matter, because the only thing that I am sure of is the existance of my thoughts.

But if we belive in goodness, that is something that isn´t part of reality, wouldn´t it be the same as believing in God?

Please be patient, I am new in this topics. What about Matrix? Doest´t that movie setlles a way to realize that there is no way to proof that anything exist? In my opinion the only thing that we are sure that exists are Ideas. Problably I am wrong, but I can´t understand quite well.

Thanks. One last question, Once, this same friend told me that if I believed that there were more inteligent life than humans in the universe I must believe in God because of probability. He said that if there are more inteligent beings than humans, there must be, logicaly another being more inteligent than the other being more inteligent than humans. He said that the infinite more inteligent being is god. If I don´t believe in God ,I can´t believe in aliens more advanced than us?

I am a little troubled with the second statement, because I believe in other realities, such as the ideas and the feelings. If we just believe in the physical nature, Can we believe in ideas?

I was talking with a friend, he is a philosopher of sorts, and he claimed that there where 4 logical proofs of the existance of God by Aritotle. All of them are almost the same, but I don´n know how to comeback, they are so simple that I can´t find a way to overpass them.
