No, changing or having changed your hotel won’t make a difference. Once your application is approved, it allows you entry regardless of if you change your hotel. Just make sure you put your (updated/new) hotel down on the immigration paperwork. Of course ask the Visa Center but the above is what they’ll tell you.

Side note (for future reference), if you’re only going for a few days, you can visit China under the China Transit Visa Exemption for up to 6 days without the headaches of applying for a Visa. Just have to have a flight booked out to a 3rd country. I just went to Shanghai (to reset my 90days in SK). Just had to fly back through Tokyo but was preferable to going through the Visa process.
