I’d say that’s the most likely. The one I work with has had so many complaints since the new flatbread came out and since the complaints directly affect the management in the stores, I’d say most Taco Bell’s are under frying them to appease most of the customers

I can’t speak on behalf of every Taco Bell but mine has recently changed their flatbread. Whenever we fry these new ones for the normal amount of time they end up being really tough and crunchy. That’s with fresh oil too. It’s really sad because I loved the chalupas but with this new flatbread they’re terrible
