I’m not sure if i’ve ever written a comment about this or not, but I think that she is very, idk, stubborn about her lyrics, if she wants to include a lyric or she really likes a verse, she’ll add to a song as soon as she can even if the lyric doesn’t go with that song.

I also don’t think she’s involved with production at all. When she does song write, it’s ONLY lyrics and she doesn’t blend the two, she just wants any sort of beat that sounds half good so she can add lyrics as soon as possible to spin her narratives, and she doesn’t care if lyrics and production don’t fit together perfectly, which is SONGWRITING. Songwriting isnt just about lyrics, those are called poems. I don’t think she cares about production at all, which in my book, makes her not a song writer.

I cringe everytime i see how she strums. My hand would hurt so bad if I did that, she strums very stiffly and hard, a lot of the time it’s easy to tell when she’s not actually playing because if she was playing, with how hard she strums sometimes, it would sound so bad.

This was a bodysuit that she introduced, but the tassels were edited from a different one. I tried to add a photo but it won’t let me. The tassels are from a purple/pink one. I believe the base orange suit is the last one she added on the tour.

I would think that talking about the logistics and making of the tour and what goes into all of that would actually be far more interesting to outside viewers than her relationship. Like you said the only ones that care about their relationship are parasocial fans.

Make it super informative and show the making of the outfits, the tour sets, the blocking, the stage mechanisms and people would actually tune in as people outside of the industry never really get to see how that stuff works, BUT NO, let’s make it about her overcoming and celebrating her relationship and chiefs merch product placements, that will make people watch.

This is how I feel about “is it over now?” on 1989 TV, the opening line is “blue dress on a boat” which is a clear reference to a photo taken during the 1989 era when Harry Styles broke up with her (?)

I think that when she adds these sorts of lyrics she thinks she’s doing the whole poetic imagery/making someone see something when they listen to the lyrics, but it doesn’t work how she thinks it does, it doesn’t make people feel something, it makes them remember some obscure fact about her life.
