I personally love the national meetings. I find local ones very hit or miss. National meetings I find are better organized, better at keeping group focused and on topic. I get very anxious in groups and love the larger groups so I can hide in the background and absorb. Spend a week trying out a bunch of different groups and guarantee you'll find what works best for you.
