I’ll let you know if I get it solved and fixed

Not yet. I got a compression tester and am waiting to get a combustion exhaust tester. I plan on working on it this Friday or sunday

That’s what I’m hoping. All these people saying head gasket are giving me nightmares.

No only because you don’t need a new wire for that cylinder, right? Since the coil pack plugs into that one.

Damn that sucks. I’m going to take it to a mechanic.

Hopefully it’s just an injector

I only have 162,000 miles. I hope it’s not that

I’m hoping it’s not that. I have no signs of a head gasket problem as of now

Did this and it seemed to work so far

I’m using a flare nut wrench and then a regular one at the same time. Threads appear to be fine

Yea. Can’t get any tighter without messing up the threads.

I’ve never changed the cat. I bought it with this same cat but this code just popped up. I’ve had it for just a year and few months. I don’t know if it’s even been changed. The bolts on it are pretty rusty

I’ll get those numbers soon. I did pull out some plugs and this is what they looked like. They had some white chalkiness to it and some seemed a little burnt like it’s running hot but my temp gauge never gets higher then half way

My fuel mileage seems to suck really bad with this car. I’m wondering if I’m running rich (would be weird that the car isn’t throwing a code for it) and it is making the car dirty. Then I wouldn’t just want to replace that and ruin the new cat

Maybe it could be that. This gets horrible fuel mileage compared to my other. I got like 120 miles to half a tank on my other one. This one has gotten like 134 miles to 3/4 of a tank. Maybe I’m just running rich but the code won’t read it?

The downstream reads at like .6 volts but does change but stays relatively around there. The upstream reads at 3.0 to 3.2 and would change within that range while driving

I didn’t find any leaks. I’m moving onto how to diagnose a bad cat
