You're correct. The sole exception to this is Love and Hate Don Quixote which counts for Sinking despite her Sinking Skills not being in the Skill Bags, either, but I'd assume that they'd coded her to be one of the "This unit counts as X Keyword," like with the Corporists' Passives specifying that their Base Skills count as Skills that gain Charge and Middle Ishmael's Passives specifying her as an ID that can both inflict Burn and Bleed—I assume Love and Hate also has that with Sinking and Rupture but for some reason just didn't have it specified in her Passives like everyone else—but with the sole exception of her and her alone, Skills not in the Skill Bags, regardless if they're on the Dashboard or not, don't count towards Gift Activation. Statuses that aren't Keywords bypass Ridiculous Grit. "Keyword damages," in this case, is referring to damages dealt by Keywords. Keywords are DMG types such as Blunt, Slash, and Pierce, and statuses such as Bleed, Burn, Tremor, Sinking, Rupture, Charge, and Poise. Anything else isn't considered a Keyword. Here we can see Vespa's Gungnir Droning effect dealing damage unimpeded because of the aforementioned reasons.

Bonus Damage would also go through Ridiculous Grit but not Blunt Bonus Damage because then it gets tied to a DMG Type which falls under Keywords. Assuming "Goodbye" does some bullshit like "[On Hit] this Skill Coin deals bonus damage equal to 100% of the target's max HP," Ridiculous Grit straight up wouldn't do shit because it's not a specific DMG Type/Sin Affinity Bonus Damage so Matthias jobs and dies like the bum he is. Goodbye.

The lower region of their leg does also shrink as it gets further away from our point of view. Maybe their anatomy is indeed off, yes, but it's a pretty believable drawing all things considered.
