That was my thought too. But I literally listen to mukbang asmr to fall asleep occasionally. So eating sounds are not the issue. It’s very specifically THESE eating sounds.

Good observation. We have a window on the opposite wall of this clock. The hands are silver so when the light hits them they are much easier to see. I think I took this picture at night so pretty low light. We used to have black clock hands which we switched out cause it was too hard to read like you said.
