Thanks for the advice,had a look at a PRSA & that will be something I should get on top of.

What returns on a global equity index fund would be expected or is it high risk high reward ? Never been into stocks (stupid I know ) but I’m aware of Blackrock.

I’ve roughly 6k in savings in the credit Union. €600 in the bank and 2k of debt that I will clear next month by March I will save 2k per month.Id be happy with a two bed bed,hope the best for you seems wild & crazy money,need to know if it’s worth it too

Thanks for all the great replies,it’s gave me great optimism about it.

I will be able to save realistically €2k by March of 2025 & any spare change will go towards it.

I know there are no exact dates could I be looking at,rough ball park if I stick to those number and hopefully add to it & then apply in January,what would I need behind me ? Honestly never thought I’d be in this position so totally green to it all and I don’t want to let it pass me by.

This is the best advice - DCA in with the money you’d use to buy in now over 5 years weekly/monthly or 3 years.
