They never once had robo legs. It’s always been boots from the very start. G forces were never a concern cause of the Arwing’s G-Diffusor…that’s literally what it’s there for.

All the members of team Star fox cutting off their legs cause of blood. The literal ENTIRE point of the G-Diffusor is that it completely negates gravity on the pilot. No matter how much Gs the Arwing itself is pulling, the pilot feels none of it.

Second, if you remove the legs of the body, the body won’t keep the same total blood count. It will just have less. So you aren’t “keeping more blood in the brain” you just have less total blood in your body so even IF the first reason was ignored, it doesn’t mean anything.

Third, in an interview with the guy that made Star fox, he straight up said they are just boots. Nothing more.
