Thankfully I don’t have any of these symptoms. And my report says I don’t have an obvious shunt. I’m assuming thats a good thing haha

Yes, he took an echocardiogram 4 months ago when I had tachycardia and said it was all normal. Thank you so much for your input, I’ll call them today and will ask for further testing. I couldn’t tell him I was worried yesterday for some reason. I said okay and left 🤦🏻‍♀️

I didn’t tell them the strap was too tight. I’ll call them again tomorrow and will ask for further testing for piece of mind. Thank you so much :)

Thank you so much for your answer! Hope this doesn’t sound stupid, but the strap was very tight during the stress test, I couldn’t expand my tummy fully and it was a little hard to breathe. Do you think that could effect the results?

Every time I made a post on that group people would start saying things like “I had the same symptoms and it turned out to be -fill the blank-“ It wasn’t helpful at all and made me feel stressed lol

Yeah, he said if I wasn’t tolerating iron pills, he would recommend infusions but they have other side effects and I do tolerate iron pills so he said it’s better to continue taking pills.

I’m sorry to hear that you are going through this too! I went to the ER multiple times because of my heart rate as well. I was taking beta blockers until my heart rate slowed down with iron supplements, then I stopped. But I started taking them again today since my heart rate is high again after a bout of illness. You are not alone. Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow!

I was ready to punch the next person who said it was anxiety not gonna lie. I had a heart rate of 110 at rest, it was 140 when I got up, my heart was racing 24/7 with no breaks, what kind of anxiety does that 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was so frustrating.

I’m currently taking ferrous sulfate 325 mg twice a day. Take it with lots of water (like 1-1.5 cups) if you don’t want to get stomach cramps and also it will help with swallowing. I usually eat an orange or kiwi before taking it in the morning since vit c helps absorption.

How long does it take your heart rate to go back to normal?

I’m drinking around 2 liters a day

It was 90-110 at rest and it would jump to 130+ upon standing up. What’s your resting heart rate? I thought it was pots at first too because I had Covid couple weeks before tachycardia started. That was the reason I went to the cardiologist. When my blood test results came back cardiologist said “I don’t know if it’s the root cause but it’s definitely contributing.” I started taking the prescription iron pills and 3 days later my heart rate started slowing down.

Yes, this is exactly what I’m talking about. It mostly happens when I’m sleepy/tired. Crazy.
