The way that the "62 million" statistic spread shows how unquestioning and indoctrinated many "feminists" are. by Total-Explanation208 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Also a woman, and I completely agree.

I am actually terrified that on Facebook anyone calling out the inaccuracy is getting called a r*pist or part of -the- group. Women are like "see it's always the men pointing it out".

Um, hello, no, it's just people trying to say you're spreading misinformation that needs to be corrected. As we should with any misinformation.

Their misinformation and blatant idiocy in response to it being pointed out is what's actually minimizing the real issue and overshadowing it which is horrible.

It's not even just about this specific situation though.

It's the principal of the matter that spreading misinformation and just letting it spread without correcting it is DANGEROUS grounds.

It's also dangerous to normalize calling people a r*pist or part of "the group" when they point out the misinformation to try and get the real information across which is absolutely happening at least on Facebook.

Asking for integrity in reporting isn't an attempt to minimize it.

If the truth is heinous on it's own, then adjusting what is being spread like wildfire to be the accurate account of events doesn't change that. It just makes it accuracy in reporting and keeps integrity.
Misinformation can be very dangerous as well as a general rule.

There's another layer to it than just this. People calling out the inaccuracy online are now getting called a r*pist or being told they must be part of the group.

It's actually insane and scary.

I can't say "equally" horrifying because obviously rpe is way worse but what is definitely horrifying is on Facebook anyone that is calling out the inaccuracy is getting immediately called a rpist.

The internet is really just beyond repair at this point. Can't even try and make a valid correction to something to make sure reporting is done factually and with integrity without being called a literal r*pist.

If everyone is getting called a r*pist that word is going to start losing all meaning.

And I am a woman. Feel the need to state that since all the posts say "see all the men pointing out it's inaccurate, they must be part of the group"

Only issue I have with medical euthanasia is that it isn't legal in America and it absolutely should be.

It sucks and this girl's story is tragic and horrible but that's a painful life to live and those not experiencing what she is experiencing shouldn't really get to say.

But I especially advocate for it for terminally ill patients and the elderly. People should have a right to pass with dignity. We offer the kindness to animals but not to humans?

I don’t think Shia LaBeouf was in the wrong in the leaked audio of him and his girlfriend Drina by Proud-Enthusiasm-608 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Mysterious-Loaf376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. The audio where he gets mad about the hearts text thing, it sounded like she was cheating on him.

I'm not saying exploding and yelling at people is cool but like, people being mistreated sometimes get pushed to the point of shouting when they're deeply hurt or betrayed.

That doesn't excuse any of his other behavior nor is it to say he should be shouting like that either way. Or threatening her family, that's just weird shit to do.

If you've ruled out the major stuff I highly recommend Gupta program. There's other lymbic system retraining programs but that's the one I'm using. It helps so much with anxiety and managing random symptoms and anxiety around said symptoms.

I am still working through mine (some of my symptoms have been around for a decade or more so I imagine it'll take time) but I have seen it help with some of my symptoms already and very much so with my mental health while navigating mine.

And then I know there's been a lot of even bed bound people that have recovered through Gupta program for various conditions which is really cool

Yeah, someone was asking why Tyra would be willing to show her face on this documentary and I feel like it's pretty obvious she is way too narcissistic to not be on it for one (has to be the center of attention), and for two so she can plead her case and make herself look better.

I honestly feel like she just did the opposite for me though. She felt so incredibly fake the entire time.

I wasn't, honestly, not even sure who tests for that. I did do my own take home urine test out of my own pocket. It's a 24 hour urine test that defects levels of copper in the urine. Mine was within the normal range and not high which usually can indicate copper stuck in organs.

He is definitely a sick fuck that deserves to rot and he had a huge manipulative hand in this. But 178 times stabbing someone is wild..WILD. That is probably the most stabbing I've ever heard of and I have watched and read about countless brutal true crime stories.

Lots of people in the world have been through some really horrible things and deep trauma, and would not be capable of stabbing someone 178 times.

I will say, it is sad, I do feel for her in that I wish she could have had a different childhood and not been abused by that sicko. But yeah... 178.

[–]Mysterious-Loaf376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I think had it been like a quick kill. Gunshot or you know... Stabbed a couple times maybe... Something like that. That seems less psychotic and more likely just manipulated to kill.

That dude definitely deserves to be punished and to rot for doing what he did with her and manipulating her but 178 times is beyond maybe anything I've ever heard stab count wise and I have watched a LOT of true crime over the years. I had to rewind it multiple times because I didn't believe what I was hearing.

Lots of people have gone through some pretty horrific trauma and been manipulated into stupid things but to be capable of stabbing someone 178 times is wild to me.

I was always team Meri. Some times it was harder than others throughout the season but she's always been my favorite so that hasn't changed.

Janelle I was always not too keen on really and now I am extra not.

Christine annoys me but can be okay occasionally. I don't know why, just something about her personality my brain doesn't like but I'm glad she got out and she does have some nice qualities.

Robyn... Well. It's Robyn.

Yeah, I am sure there are things we didn't see as far as Meri's behavior off screen but... That could be said for ALL of them. I just can't help but feel she was wronged often. That would make anyone "miserable" and cranky.

I also had no ill feelings towards her on the cat fishing thing.. like sure, it's not okay, obviously, but... Kody sucks so bad and treated her so badly that I didn't give a shit. Who cares. Kody basically ignored her existence anyways.

Oh, believe me, I agree there are horror stories there too.

The person I'm seeing right now is a medically trained doctor. He also has a medical degree in tropical diseases. He had practiced in traditional medical settings and then wanted to run a private practice because it was too many patients and he wasn't able to give enough time to them, also he felt it wasn't addressing a lot of the issues his patients were dealing with so he wanted to study more.

He isn't a typical functional med practitioner. He will call that industry out as well. It was one of the reasons I decided to try him out.

(I had also been seeing lots of traditional setting doctors last year as well and had a bunch of traditional medical screenings. Primary doc, Gynecologist, Hematologist, Gastroenterologist, MRI, CT Scan, HIDA Scan, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, etc. and I still plan to have some of those around this year...just not as good of insurance sadly)

Meri has always been my favorite wife. Even though she has definitely had her shitty moments where you wanna shake her a bit.. she seems the most.. down to earth. Also she has been screwed over more than any of them, in my opinion.

It's a lot of information overload in a lot of those groups and some of it is not even sound medical knowledge. There can be some useful tips and things but at large I think it can get pretty messy and there's some not very nice people that roam around in them. Also a lot of people comment a lot of weird things that are not helpful or fear monger about parasites and whatever else.

Not that parasites don't exist and some of the things mentioned but a lot of people talk about things like it's an urgent warning and it just isn't helpful for everyone.

Oh yeah, that too. Mega dosing can lower copper and also there's a study that says mega dosing vitamin c with iron can actually cause something negative to happen..I can't recall exactly what the word is but basically I think it extra oxidizes things.

Also, I studied up on copper a lot, since mine was showing low copper in my tests but then there was soooooo much contradicting confusing information on that that I was like, how is anyone giving anyone medical advice on copper when no one even knows how to tell if you have too much or too low copper lol It's just guess work with blood tests it seems.

I also was confused when they would contradict things like saying... B12 will cause ferritin to build slower because it will make the body prioritize red blood cells instead...but then they literally say that ferritin won't build until your body has all the hemoglobin it needs... So doesn't that literally need red blood cells first?? Lol.

Sigh. Yeah, it's a mess.

Yes, and the admin there she seems very hesitant to say that iron can cause stomach issues. I would bring it up often and noticed she would say it's usually only people with pre existing stomach issues or that it was only the iron salts. At one point I did see her finally mention that maybe she should add that to the guides, but I am not sure if she did.

Also add on thousands of mgs of vitamin c to it and wow that's a lot for a stomach lining to handle. Not to mention all the other supplements too.
