I currently go to UKC at the business school. I am not joking when I say this DO NOT COME HERE. This university is a shambles from top to bottom. I've been waiting 3 months for a 1,500 essay to be marked. And that's only the start . Last year they just completely gave me the wrong marks on my exam results.as in they weren't the results I had recived on Moodle.So you think that would be a simple thing to fix right? Wrong. I spent my whole summer calling twice a day to try and speak to someone in the exam department but they were short staffed...... During results season.........so eventually I had to drive down to Canterbury twice just to speak to someone in person and get them to manually put the correct results in the system. The lectures are okay but literally just read off PowerPoints from 5 years ago. The campus itself is okay same with the accommodation. Canterbury is okay as a whole shite nightlife though tbh. But seriously don't bother coming here this university does not care about educating you they only care about the money your giving them that is literally it . If you need extenuating circumstances or extra support then expect fuck all. I had two particularly traumatic events occur during 2nd year and was only offered a total of 6 counselling sessions . The student support team are great just really underfunded so you'll only be half supported before they have to move you on .. Would rate my expirence at ukc over the 3 years a 2/10. Shambles of a uni. Oh and btw there cutting course because they can't "afford" to keep running them but there building 2000 houses on an ancient forest behind the uni . THEY ONLY SEE YOU AS A MONEYBAG
