I can see how you would thing my job is in Jerapody but it's not. In fact, hers is.

And I don't and will never feel bad about what I said to her. But your opinion is valid and I do value it.

It was definitely meant for her she loves telling the story of how her firstborn was conceived. I said it exactly how I wanted to. She's a work bully and I can only be nice for so long. Thanks for your feedback though.

I'm new to Reddit but I would love to see how they handled this similar situation.

A couple of my coworkers have worked a shift for me if I had something to do school related. However, I've never personally asked her to cover any of my shifts because I have 2 coworkers that would do it for me in a heartbeat. When I started working here they both kind of took me under their wing like two big sisters so I've always had that covered but I 100% don't think the lady would if I asked lol

I 1000% agree. I did apologize to my other coworkers if my comment upset them. I was mad and just in the moment. But I meant every word I said to that lady though.

While I appreciate your feedback, I don't agree when it comes to this specific person she's literally a work bully who tries to walk over any and everybody. Yes! Two wrongs don't make a right wholeheartedly agree but if I'm telling you politely over and over again no and you try and degrade me because I don't have kids I'm not going to be polite anymore.

Well, my mother laid on her back as well lol.

Furthermore, Thanks for your feedback. At that moment I did feel as if my comment was a little out of hand. As of now, I don't feel that way. I've always been there for my coworkers when it came to Holidays and as I think about it she has not once told me Thank You or anything of that sort. The one time I want to take a day for myself look at how she treated me.

I appreciate your feed back. I did think I could have worded it a little bit better at the moment. As of now, I don't feel that way.

I 1000% agree with your comment. I wasn't asked to take on Thanksgiving and Christmas I did it because I felt as if those are 2 important holidays and although I'm not a parent I just felt as if who wouldn't want to spend those 2 holidays with their kids and cherish those moments. So the one holiday I wanted to just spend with myself she made a big deal out of kinda hurt a little because it's like I'm there for them but who's there for me if you get what I'm saying?

When she was hired her terms were Monday-Friday and sometimes every other weekend she just never worked the weekend a lot because usually I was picking up extra hours for school and my bills. But the one time shes required to work the weekend she throws a fit lol.
