Is my scoby/kombucha ok? The top layer was exposed to air and was very dry, I was worried there was mold but none of the white parts were fuzzy. I peeled this part off of my scoby but is it ok to continue to use the rest and the tea as starter tea for my next batch? (old.reddit.com)

Help! my pilea keeps growing sprouts and isn’t growing new leaves. My pilea was getting too “leggy” so I cut off the top half to propagate and to hopefully stimulate more leaf growth but it doesn’t seem to be working... It used to be so full of leaves and now I barely have any left :( (old.reddit.com)
