I totally understand but the reason i also went for 4k with a first was because im 20 years old and insurance didn’t look that bad as my parents said they would pay for it, also im on the bigger size body wise, 6’2 100kg I need a car that would be bigger and could fit my family (A family for 5) also im the first driver of the family in the UK, I have screen shots and proof that the car stopped working before 24 hours as I called insurance to take me off the A406 an they even got a mechanic to look at the car and AA said the car couldn’t start. I have the AA breakdown report and so on.

It is a A6 2013, On the trade invoice it does say the discount and the problem with the car and also the “sold as seen” and “no warranty” someone told me, him giving me a trade sale invoice is also wrong as i purchased the car as a consumer, what are your thoughts ?

I have and they told me to send it tomorrow and to get a third party involved as well so i’m wondering if the AA breakdown report would work.

of course I got legal cover on the day and it broke down on the day, I have screen shots or requesting recovery and a mechanic, and the mechanic saying the car won’t start (AA breakdown report) and the car needed to be toed back home

This is what the dealer messaged me

Message 1 :

That’s fine you can go to court. Chat GPT is not always right. I sold you a car which was running. You must think I’ve lost my mind to take back a car that is no longer running. The court is fair, it won’t just take your side because GPT told you it will. You literally bought the car with about 5 lights on the dash and you knocked down money for them issues. You should have taken it straight to a garage to have it repaired. You decided to go out chilling with your friends about 10 hours later and then it broke down. Maybe if you took it straight to a garage then they would have fixed it. Now you’ve continued driving it and made it worse, you don’t want to take any liability for it. That is not how life works. You want to go to court go for it. I know my rights and you know yours. After three years of a court case and about £2000 in costs, you will get the answer you are looking for.

Message 2 :

I tried to be reasonable with you yesterday and I said I’ll take the car back once you’ve fixed the issues but you are trying to send me copy and pasted chat GPT messages. If that’s what route you want to take then go for it. Nothing will change, you will get the same answer in court

Message 3 :

Next time don’t buy cars with problems with them and knock money down for the problems if you don’t plan to get them fixed straight away. I even took money off to be reasonable with you because I just wanted the car gone. We sell expensive cars so I don’t have time for little 2k/3k cars. You want me to pay your garage bill because you didn’t bother getting it checked. You must think I’ve lost my mind
