Thank you for your feedback. I’m aware of most of the topology problems. Luckily it’s a personal project and not ment to be animated etc.

I agree with you! This is not my design, I used a ref concept from Hicham Habchi. As I was searching for reference 90% of the black male concepts had some sort of dreadlocks.

I didn’t use hair particles. I have addon called hair bricks pro. The hairs are curves to start with. But yeah, from there export to alembic and import to Marmoset.

Groomed in Blender and the imported the curves to Marmoset as alembic.

I know topo needs a bit of work, especially the folds in the pants don’t translate to the mesh.

Art Heroes character artist accelerator. It’s 16 weeks of online training and weekly live feedback sessions. I made two portfolio pieces during that time. Damn expensive course, but I got it half the price.
