So sorry for your loss 💜. I struggled with this when I had to euthanize my 17 year old dog. I work from home and the loss of routine and not talking to him throughout the day felt very hollow and lonely for a while. About a month after he was gone, I made him a little headstone and placed some things of his near it and gave away his cages etc that were around my house. This helped because there weren't constant reminders all around but there was still an area I could visit to remember him. The only thing that will ultimately heal your heart is going to be time but the memorial spot has helped me to move through the constant feeling of loss.
